Audio → MIDI
Drop a melody, bassline or vocal and get it back as MIDI with a piano-roll preview. Works on single melodic parts — full mixes won't track well. Runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

How to convert audio to MIDI online
- Record a melody with your mic (hum, whistle or sing) or drop an audio file with a clear single-note melody.
- The converter tracks the pitch in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
- Preview the detected notes in the piano roll and clean up any stray notes.
- Download the .mid file and drop it into your DAW on any instrument.

What audio works best for audio-to-MIDI?
Monophonic audio — one note at a time. A hummed or whistled melody, a sung line or a single-note synth lead converts cleanly; full mixes and chords do not.
Can I convert a whole song to MIDI?
Not reliably — polyphonic transcription of a full mix is beyond any browser tool. Isolate the melody first (try the vocal remover) and convert that.
Why are some notes wrong or missing?
Pitch tracking depends on a clean signal: background noise, vibrato and reverb confuse it. Record close to the mic, keep the melody steady, and tidy stray notes in your DAW afterwards — the full workflow is in our audio-to-MIDI guide.
